Blockchain “Immunity Passport” Enables Workers to Get Back to Work

Oracle has partnered with Vottun, a company specialized in certification and traceability of data on the blockchain to launch a digital health passport known as “Immunity passport” that enables employers to get back to their work without any concern about the coronavirus transmission.
The digital credentials system records employers’ immunity status on the blockchain which can easily be examined.
Based on Rohan Hall, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Vottun the passport “can be verified at any time using cryptography by any mobile phone that can read a QR code”.
The digital credentials system is already being implemented in Spain. Germans and Chinese have raised doubts about the efficacy and effectiveness of aforementioned technology.
Due to extreme difficulty to trace back who has been in contact with the infected person, we’ve seen that government officials have taken extreme measures to continue lockdowns that may remain for a longer period of time than expected.
It has been claimed that Votton’s passport and contact tracing will open the doors again to as normal a life as possible in such a difficult time.
