Blockchain Voting App; A Revolution is Under Way

It seems that coronavirus pandemic won’t allow people to make it out to the polls in November, therefore blockchain is here to address the problem by developing a voting app.

WinterGreen Research and Government Blockchain Association, or GBA, are developing a voting app which implements blockchain technology to make fraud detectable. The aforesaid app is required to be approved on a state-by-state basis.

Susan Eustis, President of WinterGreen Research believes that Virtual voting is the best of any recommended solutions for social distancing and mitigating the spread of COVID-19. Eustis said: “we anticipate that the digital voting app will roll out quickly, just as the telemedicine market was eclipsed by virtual care delivery from Cisco WebEx and Zoom.”

Eustis is optimistic about voting app adoption in time for the U.S Presidential elections in November. WinterGreen has also scheduled training courses for election officials. Eustis said they are exploring several private blockchains for their application.
